When the DACTL REG. bit0 is set by software, the 8-bits D/A converter starts converting. The only
way to disable the D/A converter is to reset bit0 of the DACTL REG by software control. The analog
signal will go to pin P5.3 in this chip if the I/O port is set up as a D/A output pin.
The power source of the D/A converter (R-2R circuit) can be selected from either V
DD
or 2.25V by
programming the DACTL REG bit2.
