is high and this bit is low, the CD-ROM
X1 mode-2 form-1 correction will be performed. This bit is not effective if

is high.
MCRQ - Mode Byte Check Request

When this bit is high, ECC logic will check the 4th header byte with the setting of

WSHORT - Word Short
This bit becomes high when the incoming serial data rate is too high to be processed.

SBKF - Short Block Flag
If

is low, this bit becomes high when a sync pattern is detected less than 2352 bytes
after last sync pattern was detected/inserted.
